Application
1. Vitamin E has anticoagulant activity, and long-term high-dose intake can increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke
2. Ingestion of low doses of vitamin E has antioxidant activity, while ingestion of large doses may no longer have antioxidant activity, at which point vitamin E becomes a prooxidant
3. Ingestion of large doses of vitamin E can hinder the absorption and function of other fat soluble vitamins.
